What is THE TPP PROTOCOL?

Ever noticed that the first thing people do in a digital sandbox is build... that?

We are here to track it. THE TPP PROTOCOL is a centralized database dedicated to the ultimate emergent speedrun: Time To P***s (TTP). We document the creative ways players use rocks, crates, building mechanics, and bullet decals to subvert game engines.

It is immature, it is entirely unnecessary, and it is arguably the most consistent metric of player agency in gaming history. If a developer gives a player tools, the player will test the absolute limits of those tools. TTP is the measurement of that inevitable boundary break.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a joke?

Yes and no. The concept is deeply unserious, but the infrastructure, database, and moderation protocols behind this platform are built to enterprise standards. We take the archiving of this highly specific gaming phenomenon very seriously.

How does the review process work?

When you submit a run, it enters a pending queue. A Moderator or a game-specific Validator will review your linked YouTube evidence. They verify the start and stop timing, ensure the run relies on "Symbolic Representation" (no explicit mods), and confirm any category constraints. You will receive an in-app notification once your run is approved or rejected, along with a note from the reviewer.

What are the different user roles?

To keep the database clean, we use a structured hierarchy:

  • Users: Can submit runs, propose custom game tags, and comment on records.
  • Validators: Trusted players assigned to moderate the queue for specific games they specialize in.
  • Moderators & Admins: Have global review access across all games, handle user bans, and manage the master category registry.
  • Supporters: Users who help fund the server costs via BuyMeACoffee. They receive a special UI badge, but no moderation powers.

Can I submit highly explicit mods?

Absolutely not. The TPP Protocol is strictly focused on "Symbolic Representation" using the game's inherent physics, graphics, and objects creatively. Realistic or explicit texture mods violate our core terms and will result in an immediate network ban.

Who runs this?

This is a solo, independent passion project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game developer, publisher, or platform indexed within our database.
